Real ales and West Country ciders

At the Kings Arms Portesham we have a traditional open fire for the winter months and a massive pretty beer garden for the summer months, where you can enjoy a drink while you watch the world go by, or to accompany your meal.

We are proud to announce we have just been Cask Marque accredited on our real ales!

Beers and lagers

We are on Punch's Finest Cask scheme, which means we are able to serve an excellent selection of real ales at the Kings Arms. We keep 3 regular real ales - Greene King Abbot, Sharps Doombar and Ringwood Best and then we also like to offer a guest beer, which changes every two weeks.

As well as these real ales, we also stock a good range of other unusual beers and lagers.

Cider

We always serve Strongbow cider, but given cider is a traditional Dorset drink, in the Summer we also like to offer a guest West Country cider. So please come back in the summer season to see which particular one we have chosen!

Wines

The Kings Arms offers a good selection of wines and in a wide variety of sizes too. We currently have the following for you to choose:

• 5 reds
• 1 rosé
• 1 sparkling
• and 2 whites - a Sauvignon Blanc and a Pinot Grigio

We serve all our wines by the glass and by the bottle - small or large.

In addition, we also offer a comprehensive range of spirits, mixers and soft drinks.
